THE CONCEPTS OF STREAMING

Streaming is any form of live or recorded multimedia files that can be broadcasted anytime from platforms to any devices over the internet. One type of stream is LIVE STREAMING, a broadcast that you can watch in real time.

Live Interviews

One of the content types of live streaming is a live interview consisting of at least one host or the interviewer and an interviewee that will simultaneously ask questions, exchange of thoughts and experiences, and talk casually on-the spot and in real time. We’ll invite people who are experts in the field of our topic beforehand.

In streaming, there are many platforms and tools a streamer or content creator can choose from, based on the preference and needs of your own target audiences or viewers.

Our Stream Tools and Platforms

For our streaming tools, we will maximize and use Open Broadcaster Software or OBS Studio since it is already familiar to our members and they have already tried it. For the platform, we will stream on Facebook & YouTube to attract more viewers and engage with the audiences as these two are few of the most social media applications for our viewers.

Smooth Stream Flow

High or Low-End set of equipment that allows a smooth and laminar flow of the stream and prevents lags, pixelation, and buffering.

Establishes Connection & Flexible

The streamer interacts with the audiences in real-time, with clear audio and video. Streamers should always have a plan whenever unplanned situations occur & unique and different from other streams.

Respectful & Safe Stream Environment

Stream should be influential (positively) and inspiring to call an action to motivate viewers. No toxic and hurtful audience or chat and the streamers behavior, in other words promoting a generally good behavior for both the stream and the audience.

Consistency

Stay consistent with your content uploads, schedule, and your commitment.

Answers to your common queries

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We will gain important insights from analyzing various audiences that might enable us in creating a strong connection with the audience. We are aware of the details that we might use to establish a relationship with your audience that acts as our stakeholders in this live stream. This will help us in analyzing what content type the viewers prefer, their overall opinion on the topic and would give us a better picture of what service we need to produce that suits our audience more.

The empathic stage of design thinking is crucial in knowing the needs of viewers in a streaming category. Empathize Stage of design thinking allows us to thoroughly assess and deeply relate with our viewers for us to satisfy their needs and give appropriate and sufficient content that they want and need.

The common need my team has found while doing the activity is that being interactive and connecting with the viewers. This is because they are our own stakeholders and they are the ones we give our service to. Their satisfaction for our stream determines that our content is effective and efficient. We discovered through our actions that strong social skills and self-assurance make streaming enjoyable because we are gratifying and satisfying our viewers. We have realized that the quality of a video and a viewer friendly interface greatly affects the viewers opinion.

The documentation of our journey helped our group in organizing our thoughts as it reminded us of the step by step process that we did in order for our group to get here. This enabled us to recall the activities that we did in an organized and subsequent order. From the team’s journey in discovering the need for streaming, our milestones per EGs, and the iPBA for Life Labs part. It promotes flexibility and knowledge sharing within the so that we all understand how the work progresses.

It is really important to document information on a website because this will ensure us that the information that we encoded won’t be edited or erased. Documenting information on a website won’t be edited because it is now not easy to edit a website as it will require various files and codes to edit, and it is also way easier to access it anywhere.

Documenting information on a website is different from documenting it on paper. Documenting information on a website is much more efficient as it is easy to access and store, and it will ensure us that the information is safe; that it can’t be damaged, edited, or deleted as well as provides transparency. On the other hand, documenting on paper is a hassle as it is easy to be misplaced and damaged.
